What an amazing day! Our Mauritian Community Picnic at LaFarge Lake brought everyone together for a beautiful afternoon of food, music, movement, and community spirit.
On Sunday, September 6, 2026, families and friends gathered to relax, connect, and celebrate our culture. Everyone brought food to share, some dishes were cooked right there at the park, we enjoyed plenty of sega, and even had our very own private Zumba class!

The atmosphere was full of laughter, good food, island vibes, and Mauritian colours. We had a wonderful turnout and loved seeing the community come together for such a fun and memorable day.
